A demon gave to me
As the holiday season drew closer, Crowley found himself increasingly unwilling to stick around. All that good will and cheer December tended to bring gave him headaches. Before he left however, the demon who had spent far too long among humans had a few things to leave for the acquaintances he had made in Desai. Not that these were Christmas gifts. Obviously. Of course not. They just happened to be things he had found in his possession conveniently in December that he had no use for. Certainly not anything to do with the holidays.
In Vergil's room, a large blue coat of elaborate design and fancy materials is folded neatly with a card resting on top of it, Vergil's name scrawled on it in red. It was made of similar blues to those Crowley had seen Vergil wear in the past and materials designed to hold up to significant wear and damage. The other side of the card had Crowley's name snaked across it in the same red.
A serpent in an apple tree
Left in their shared flat, neatly folded and tied with a red ribbon was a warm winter coat of a slate blue color. Tucked away inside it's folds rested a carefully leather bound manuscript, protected within its plastic film jacket. Crowley would never admit to having had it. He certainly hadn't bothered to take it out of the plastic keeping the item separated from him. Not that he had anything to fear. He just didn't much care for books the way Aziraphale did. The front of the jacket had a tattered old label with fine, faded calligraphy. It read "Codex Vaticanus, 4th Century"
Two sinking ducks and a serpent in an apple tree
Delivered sometime during the week to Matthew's current place of residence was a simple white box with his name scrawled on it in a red serpentine font. Inside was a fitted suit in soft browns and creams and a tag that contained a single word in the same font.
Three french wines, two sinking ducks and a serpent in an apple tree
On the counter of the bar inside The Frogs an envelope rested against a deep purple tinted wine bottle. The wine had been replaced with Diet Coke without removing the cork. The envelope was sealed with red wax in the shape of an apple. Inside was a small piece of paper. The front was neatly printed
Until the day we can share a true drink together.
Four frightened ferns, three french wines, two sinking ducks and a serpent in an apple tree
Atop the dresser in Kaito's room rested a small package, wrapped up in blue fabric and tied with a red ribbon. In the small package there was a simple, worn deck of cards with the words "King of Cards" written on the back of the box. No notes of any kind were left with the 'gift'.
Five Golden Bentleys, four frightened ferns, three french wines, two sinking ducks and a Serpent in an apple tree
The last of the gifts was a box addressed to Caprice. It contained a bottle of Champagne and two glasses. The card with the box read "To Future encounters."
The Full Twelve Days:
On the Twelth day of Christmas A Demon gave to me:
Twelve end days averted, eleven thwarted wiles, ten demons tempting, nine angels dancing, eight books-a-burning, seven phones-a-ringing, six queens-a-playing,
Five Gooolden Beeentleys, four frightened ferns, three french wines, two sinking ducks, and a serpent in an apple tree.

On the other side, a smaller script in a familiar serpentine font.

Aziraphale
Crowley would be getting a very, very big hug when he got home.

A VERY long time... but eventually, he chose to be flattered by the effort. The god was pleased. And indeed... when they could share a true drink....
His lips turned up to half a smile. What a fine day that will be.

Well he thought, moving over to his own pile of presents, It was a good thing he had decided to shop for Mr. crowley. He just had to hunt him down after the .. hubub of the season cleared.
He sets aside the present and goes back to his work wrapping.

Finally, he carried it with him to the over-sized mirror that hung outside the bathroom in his Starscape room. Slipping it on, Vergil found it fit perfectly. Well, well.... Something resembling a smile tugged at his lips. And I hadn't thought to get you anything. Something to be remedied.
He went to his bookshelf and pulled down something ancient and leather-bound. Finding the passage he needed, Vergil sat down to make some notes.
