On the counter of the Between the Covers bookstore sits a box, impeccably wrapped in shiny silver paper and adorned with neatly tied green ribbon snaked creatively around the box. A small, green tag is tied to the ribbon. On the line that says 'To:' a neat serpentine scrawl reads 'Aziraphale'. A series of scribbles beside the 'For:' line could potentially be made to read Crowley if you knew what you were looking for.
Beneath the tidy wrappings and within a relatively simple white box, wrapped up in soft white tissue, lays a silver-gray knit scarf made of alpaca and merino. Atop the scarf a white note card reads simply in a soft scrawling font, "For winter walks".
Beneath the scarf is a copy of 'Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol, First Edition 1843' contained in a dust jacket and padded on all sides by more paper.
