Got a message from below, looks like round 2 is starting.

Ready to give it another go?

I hear clash of the titans makes a fool out of Zeus.

Want to go to the movies?

Drinks, you and me. Let's find a bar to start something in. I need a distraction and I absolutely can not be around this weekend.

I'm in need of more plants. Obedient ones. Ones that won't wilt just because of bad influences from meddling hands and teeth.

I have to weigh the merits of seeing a modern fantasy interpretation of my father being made a fool of... versus the torture of having to sit through two hours of "oh look at the half-blood hero thinking he's so special" without any wine.... I'll pass.

Nothing fun in the last few decades, that's for sure. But I'm not taking issue with your invitation, but I'd rather stare at the ceiling than at whatever they're passing off as "Perseus" nowadays. The real one was my half-brother, you know.

Tell me, do you watch movies about demons often?

Oh the things that mortals don't know about the real world....

Regardless of the potential amusement in mortals' interpretation, I'll still pass on the film. Heroes don't interest me.

In this sense, by "hero" I'm talking about half-blooded sons of gods who think they can do whatever they want regardless of who it destroys. Not some theatrical construct. Jason, Heracles, Theseus.... Who are the real villains, I wonder? Perseus is not spared my disdain, even in approximation.

If I knew that, I would have been having fun a long time ago. In the meantime, my subscription to "Wine Spectator Magazine" has followed me here so I'll be boring and catching up on reading back issues at the bar, if you need me.

...Really, this "not having any fun" thing is starting to get a little old. Maybe I'll get a coed to peel some grapes for me. The freshmen travel in groups, if you're game.
